PITTSBURGH, Posted 9:46 p.m. EDT May 1, 2000 -- One insight into the mind of the accused is a personal ad that ran in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

The print ad is linked to a voice message straight from Richard Baumhammer:

"Hi, this is Richard. I live in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. I'm an attorney-at-law. I've worked in Europe and Atlanta, Georgia. I'm 6'2", 215 pounds, athletically built, have a neat mustache and beard. I enjoy many things Pittsburgh has to offer. I enjoy dinner out, traveling, conversation, cafes, concerts. It would be great to meet someone really interesting for a meaningful relationship. If this sounds good to you please leave a number, and I'll call you. Thank you."

The ad ran as recently as Friday, the day of the shooting.
