NAACP Leader: Community Must Come Together
PITTSBURGH, Updated 1:58 p.m. EDT May 2, 2000 -- A peace rally will also be held in market square, downtown on Friday.
People are invited to come as the victims of the shooting rampage are remembered on the one week anniversary of the rampage.
The Tim Stevens, president of the Pittsburgh branch of the NAACP, says the community must come together to make a change.
The rally is expected to end with a candlelight vigil in the shopping center where some of the shootings took place.
